RegionSelect ("RegionSelect," "we," "us," or "our") operates a marketplace connecting homeowners with local home service businesses through independent field representatives. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Contact information — name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number.
- Property and service details — the address where service is requested, the services you are interested in, and photographs of the property taken to prepare an estimate.
- Account information — login credentials for field representatives, businesses, and homeowners who create accounts.
- Transaction information — quotes, jobs, and payment records. Card details are processed by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
- Communications — SMS messages, in-app messages, and support correspondence exchanged through the platform.
We also automatically collect limited technical information such as device and browser type, and, with your permission, approximate location used to match you with nearby businesses.
How we use your information
- To match service requests with local home service businesses.
- To prepare, deliver, and follow up on quotes and estimates.
- To send transactional notifications about your quotes, scheduled jobs, and payments.
- To process payments and pay commissions to businesses and field representatives.
- To provide customer support and respond to your questions.
- To detect fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
SMS messaging
When you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages, RegionSelect may send you SMS messages relating to your service request — including quote notifications, job status updates, payment confirmations, and follow-up requests.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Message frequency varies based on your activity on the platform. You can expect to receive messages when a quote is ready, when a job is completed, when a payment is received, and occasionally as a follow-up after service. Most users receive fewer than ten messages per service request.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt back in. Reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we share information
We share your information only as needed to operate the marketplace:
- With home service businesses — when you request service, we share your name, contact details, service address, and request details with the business matched to your job so they can quote and perform the work.
- With field representatives — the independent contractor who submitted your lead may see the status of that lead.
- With service providers — vendors who provide payment processing, SMS and email delivery, cloud hosting, error monitoring, and address lookup, each acting on our instructions.
- For legal reasons — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of RegionSelect, our users, or the public.
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Data retention and security
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Opt out of SMS by replying STOP to any message.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
- Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of its sale — we do not sell personal information.

Children's privacy
RegionSelect is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
